Safety and Assurance
Kitsons Environmental Europe Limited has long recognised that people are its greatest asset and to achieve its key objective - excellence in product and service provision, it has developed procedures that are aimed at ensuring that no harm is caused to people or the environment, that no damage is caused to plant or equipment, and that there is no loss to production.
In pursuance of this objective, Kitsons Environmental Europe Limited operates an Integrated Business System (IBS) that is accredited to EN ISO 9001:2000, Quality Management Systems, BS EN ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Sysems and OHSAS 18001:1999 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and which is externally audited twice a year.
These initiatives have resulted in the Company achieving an excellent safety record enabling the Company to qualify for safety awards and testimonials from a number of organizations and associations within the UK, e.g. British Safety Council, Syngenta, Chevron, British Nucleur Group, Asbestos Removal Contractors Association.
In recognition of the important part of the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety issues play in todays market place, the Company has in place an effective and proactive Assurance department that supports the contracting teams, providing advice, training, performance monitoring and auditing as well as ensuring the IBS continues to meet the exacting standards through its own independant internal auditing programme.
