| Kitsons have been awarded the prestigious ARCA Gold Training Award for 2008. The award presented at the ARCA AGM was given to Kitsons in recognition of their high pass rates achieved for their personnel throughout 2008 on a national level.
Alan Taylor, Health & Safety Manager said “Our training program is fundamental to the success of our business, we are delighted to receive the award from ARCA which further highlights industry excellence in awareness initiatives and recognition of industry-leading training within the asbestos removal sector.”
He went on to say “The importance of training across the company is paramount to our development, and the response from our supply chain to be part of this initiative has been excellent."
Terry Jago ARCA’s (Asbestos Removal Contractors Association) Director of Training said:
“I am delighted at Kitsons winning the Association’s Gold Award for Training. The award demonstrates their commitment to working at the highest standards by ensuring all their labour are trained to meet the demands of this specialist industry.”
Kitsons plan to secure the award again in 2009 through their ongoing strict training initiatives in place throughout the company.
