Kitsons Environmental Europe Limited have secured a £1.9m contract to undertake the Thermal insulation cladding of a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) ductwork and balance of plant pipework, which includes all steam pipework and associated systems for the new energy centre.
After months of negotiation and planning for the contract, Kitsons are pleased to be working on this prestigious contact with a blue chip client who offer a great opportunity of working directly with one the world’s biggest power station developers.
The programme for the works will provide work for up to 50 Thermal Insulation engineers and sheet metal fabricators, combined with a full site based support team, who will responsible for the management of our works under strict safety, environmental and quality controls.

The scope of work will involve the insulation of some 11, 000 metres of pipework, associated vessels, equipment and ductwork using mineral wool and aluminium cladding.
The energy centre is located on the outside of Plymouth and requires some careful consideration to its appearance , the main issue is the stack and adjoining ductwork which has been specially designed and will require some significant in put from Kitsons as part of there work will involve the cladding of the outlet ductwork in silver coloured granite sheets metal
