Scaffolding - Cemex |
| |
Go back |
Location: Rugby
Programme: 2 years
Peak labour: 25 men
Description: Scaffolding and thermal insulation for the new bag filter project. The contract is divided into two shutdowns where the existing plant is dismantled to allow the installation of new fans, ductwork and precipitators, creating the minimum disruption to Cemex’s production of clinker.
Kitsons work involves the erecting of scaffolds, removal of existing insulation materials and cladding. This allows for the removal of equipment and ductwork by mechanical contractors and insulation of new / replacement parts. Kitsons insulated and cladded the new plant and removed the access scaffolding.
The avoidance of time delays was critical and Kitsons carefully planned and co-ordinated their activities with other trades to ensure this was achieved.
Kitsons have provided to follow services:
- Scaffolding
- Thermal insulation
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Structural cladding
- Welded pin / railing system
