Description: Kitsons have developed the term maintenance support contract for “hard services” providing asbestos removal, asbestos surveying, thermal insulation, scaffolding, painting, general contracting and decommissioning / dismantling.
The site operates under strict entry barriers and all operatives are vetted and security cleared to work at site. Kitsons provide a strong management team with dedicated health and safety support controlled with a high degree of site knowledge based on many years experience of providing this services to AWE and their contracting community.
The works vary from dismantling of contaminated facilities to thermal insulation of boiler plant and Kitson’s operatives are trained to the highest health, safety and quality standards to equip them when working with ionising radiation and asbestos.
